Beachfront property on a Seychelles Island
Anse theodore is on the Eastern tip of Cerf Island and features pristine white beaches
all along the water frontage. It is sheltered from the Northwest monsoon, has a cross-shore breeze in the Southeast and has the best moorings on the island, just off the beach.
The bay was originally used by the Brothers from the Catholic mission who relaxed in a villa amongst the trees. The original foundations are still there; as is a boat shed, well and lookout point. Big trees dominate and wild giant tortoises roam the valleys.
A 2 acre slope of exposed bed-rock on the adjacent property catches ample rainwater during the rainy season and this is stored underground in large tanks. This removes dependence
on water from the mainland and keeps the gardens green all year round.
The large indigenous trees provide leafy walks and keep the land cool in the hotter months. The soil under the forest canopy is also very rich and wild vanilla, cashew nuts, coconut, mango and banana as well as cultivated flowering trees grow at a terrific rate.
